SOMALI RELIEF PROGRAM
ArcSociety is working directly with the government of Udubland, one of the hardest hit areas in Somalia, to provide relief to those in desperate need. As an indication of their confidence in ARCSociety’s track record at providing humanitarian assistance, the President of the Somali State Udubland has written a MOA, stating his government “will work closely with ARCSociety and its partner agencies to ensure humanitarian aid is delivered urgently and efficiently to those in need.”

2010 EAST AFRICA RAMADAN FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Under the administration of ARCS, food was distributed in remote areas of Kenya, and Iftar was served nightly in Pangani Mosque in Nairobi as well as in remote areas of Kenya.

2010 EAST AFRICA WELLS
ARCS oversaw a huge effort to put in wells in areas severely hit by drought and where water is extremely difficult to access. Areas where assistance was provided included Lamu, Moshi Tanzania, and rural areas in Kenya, including a much-needed well at King Fahd Lamu District Hospital which is essential as clean water is required to preserve sanitation within the hospital.
